Should I take the baby out of the dwarf lemon tree lemon?
This summer I ordered a dwarf meyer lemon and key lime dwarf catalog. The lime came over and looked like a mini tree. Cool. The lemon was and is basically a stick with a few leaves. Since the seedlings were not expecting much of them this summer. However, the stick of lemon, and has been called, flowers and now has a golf ball size of lemon on it. I wonder if I should remove, because it is sucking all the nutrients and I really like to have a lemon tree, not a stick of lemon. Its on the inside for the winter as I live in Buffalo.
Good morning, Mrs. V, You sound like me (30) years. That's when I planted my dwarf Meyer Lemon tree. It was about four inches high. I guess your tree. The first year it bloomed and had a lemon in it. I let it go and make iced tea and lemon. I was very proud of the little guy. I knew I had a winner. Well, I think I hurt the tree, because they have no lemon for five years. In fact, I have tried to dig it up. My wife saved the baby. If I had to do it all again, I think he took off in a lemon tree. Now my tree is about five feet tall and has about a hundred lemons a year. In all nine fruit trees, which remains the conversation piece. Have a great day, from Los Angeles.
